Check And Monitor Your Credit Score Regularly

If you are thinking of applying for a loan for your online business, it will be a good idea to first check your credit score. This will give you an indication whether your request will be approved or not and how much interest you will have to pay.

So how do you check your credit score? For that, you will need to get it from a credit agency. These three are namely Experian, Equifax or Transunion. People can log in to their site and request a copy which is absolutely free.

Your credit score could range from 350 to 750 points and the higher it is, the better. If your score is below 650, then you need to improve on it. SBA loans are not looked at unless you have a minimum 650 score.

Credit Karma offers free credit reporting monthly with no credit card needed. The days of you having to enter credit card information seems to be gone, as it should be paying for a credit score with a card makes no sense.

Knowing your current credit score and then reviewing it to find errors and if there happens to be some, take the appropriate steps to fix them. You should call the credit agency to report the error and then send the supporting documents by mail.

Never send the original copies because if they lose it, you have nothing left to support your claims so send photocopies.

The next step is for the crediting agency to conduct an investigation into the matter. If your creditor cannot produce anything, then the error is immediately removed from your record and a revised copy will be sent to you free of charge.

But if the report is correct, then you will have to take the appropriate steps to remove it. Your credit score may go down depending on your credit history. If you have unpaid loans or have incurred late payments in your credit card, then you have to pay them.

Remember that these things will be in your credit report for the next 7 years while filing for bankruptcy lasts for about ten so you can’t run from it.

You will have to find a way to come up with the money by working overtime, cutting down on your expenses, getting a second job or selling some of your valuables. If you don’t know what to do, it wouldn’t hurt to swallow your pride and ask for help as there are financial advisers that are willing to help you go through this time.

If things are not that bad, perhaps you can make a deal with your creditor so this will not appear on your record thus having no effect on your credit score. Just make sure you stick to the bargain because if you fail to do so, don’t expect them to be so generous the next time this happens.

A year later, you can request for a new copy of your credit report to see if the steps you have taken have paid off. If you see a significant improvement versus the year before, you know you are doing something right and you won’t have a problem anymore applying for a loan.

Checking your credit score is something people should do regularly by getting a copy from a crediting agency. There are three to choose from and you can get a copy from all three at the same time or every few months.

The scoring system used by all three are different but all point to one conclusion and that is whether or not you have good or bad credit.

Creativity-Ideas To Improve Your Life

“Are there still original ideas in the world?”
“They beat me to that bright idea; what else can I do?”
“I’ve failed many times before that I can’t think of anything else to solve this problem anymore.”

These statements reflect the thought of an individual who has given up on creativity. Sadly, a lot of people share this way of thinking. They never viewed creativity as a very useful tool to improve or improvise in life in all its diversity.

A situation that requires a solution can be approached in a variety of ways. There isn’t a single way fix to a problem. Being creative opens new horizons and can deliver many benefits. Creativity can sometimes be mistakenly interpreted as an obstinate attitude. Some people think that insisting on doing things in a different way is a sign of stubbornness.

Never hold back a good idea. Everyone is free to interpret his own unique way. Any interpretation by itself is creativity at work. A person who enjoys creative thinking can easily come up with innovative solutions for situations that require a quick fix.

For instance, your car got stalled on a deserted highway due to a leaky rubber hose on the cooling system. Tough luck! Of all places, it had to happen in the remotest places.

If you have some chewing gum in your pocket, it just might be a handy fix. Start chewing the gum and patch it on the leak. To keep the gum in place, tie it with a piece of rag. This quick fix might do the trick so you can drive several miles without an overheated engine, until you get to a service station to have the leaky hose replaced.

There used to be a television series entitled “MacGyver.” The main character is an extremely creative and crafty guy. Whenever he finds himself in a tight fix, he tries to find a way out of it with his quick fixes utilizing available materials around him.

In a way, creativity is a never-ending learning process. From learning, you gain untold benefits, which you can use in real life situations.

Being creative might require you to think out-of-the-box, venturing your mind into the uncommon. You can never be sure of your ideas until you try them. As long as there is no perceived danger involved, it is always worth a try.

700+ Is a Good Credit Score

Isn’t it funny that who we are is based on numbers? The same goes when we apply for a loan and if you don’t want any problems, you should at least be 700 and above to have a good credit score.

But what is a credit score? It is an indicator which tells a creditor if you will be able to pay your debt should your loan be approved. Normally, the score is from 340 to 850 and if you don’t score that well, your loan by be disapproved or this will be granted as long as you accept to pay the high interest rate.

This is probably unfair given that you don’t have money already but it is a fact of life. It’s either you agree to their terms or you don’t get the much needed funds.

In the US, many Americans get a good credit score. This happens because they don’t spend beyond their means and pay their bills on time.

But for those who don’t score well, they have to find a way to make ends meet by cutting down on their expenses and paying these debts gradually. A good idea will be to talk to your creditor about the situation so they can come up with a payment plan so this will never appear on their permanent record. That is perhaps the smartest thing to do if you had a good credit score the year before.

If you have many credit cards, you should cancel the others and only keep two. You should keep the one that you have had the longest as this will look good on your credit score.

One mistake some people make especially when their credit history is less than 3 years old is opening a new account even when it is not necessary. You just have to think smart to see if it is worth the risk.

If your credit score is just a few points from 700, look at the document and see if everything stated there is correct. Who knows, you might get lucky and find out that there was an error made. You can call the credit agency to tell them about it and send the supporting documents so an investigation can be done and this matter can be corrected.

To get a copy of your credit score, you can get in touch with one of these credit agencies namely Experian, Equifax or Transunion. Thought the scoring system they use is different from one another, it states the same thing so you know what it is. This changes yearly so get another one year and compare the results versus the year before.

A good credit score of 700 and above can get you low interest rates when you need to apply for a loan. With that money, you can buy a new house or car, pay for college tuition or renovate your home. If you want to get it, then you have to work for it as this number won’t appear out of thin air.

Being the consumer, you must know what your credit score is before you even think of asking for a loan. This will avoid you the embarrassment of being told that there are issues which will never happen if you have a good credit score.

Four Easy Ways to Save Money and Buy a Dress

With the current economic crunch, a lot of people right now are staving off from spending so much. They look for ways to save money. Now, people are no longer hanging out in the malls and splurging on the latest fashion and concentrating instead on the bare necessities like housing, utilities and food. But what if you need to buy a new set of clothes for an interview? Where will you get the money to spend on a new outfit? You know what, you can actually splurge on some items every now and then. You just need to find ways to cut down your expenses on other things.

Below are some of the ways to save their money and still be able to splurge on a few extras every now and then.

1. Save on Utilities
You may not realize it but you are paying a lot for your electricity and water bills. You just don’t notice it because it is one of the necessities that you always allot money for from your budget. What you don’t know is that by simply turning off the TV when no one is watching or changing the schedule of your laundry, you can save enough for a new bag or a dress.
Appliances that are still plugged even when not in use also consume electricity. Both the washing machine and the iron consumer a lot of electricity. If you want to lessen your electric bill, do the laundry and ironing once a week. This will mean that laundry will pile up but hey, you wanted to buy clothes!

2. Fewer trips.
Another way to save money is to schedule the trips outside. Although gas prices have gone down in recent months, gas money can still consume a lot from the budget. If you really want to afford that new dress, schedule your trips alongside trips that are necessary such as fetching the kids to school. Car pooling is also another option. You can have your neighbor take the kids to school alongside her kids and then take turns. That way, you both can save gas money.

3. Eat what you can
There is a reason why buffets always have a policy: Clean plate. That means that you should only get food that you know you can eat. Nothing more. A lot of people just take food without really considering if they can eat them or not. At home, train your kids to only put food on their plate that they can eat. That way, there will be no food wastage. You therefore can save a lot in food bills.

4. Recycle, don’t throw away
Another obvious way to save money for a dress is to not buy the dress at all. If it’s going to be just a one night affair, borrow from people that you know. You can also check out your closet and see if you have dresses that you can recycle. With the right accessories you can turn a blah outfit into a glamorous one. Just ask any stylist. If you do have the budget, albeit small. You can try going to thrift store and scour for a vintage find.

It will not be brand new but at least it will be a brand new addition to your closet. Besides if you are lucky you can find unworn pieces in thrift stores.

How to Make Others Like You

One of the basic needs of people is to feel accepted. Knowing this is the secret to establishing a great relationship with various types of people.

A number of books, articles and seminars have taken the role of educating people on the different ways of associating with people and building close relationships with them. There are several things that you can do when you are trying this.

One of these is to make individuals feel accepted. According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, one of man’s basic needs is to feel a sense of belonging to a group. Man feels the sense of belonging in either small groups like a family and small circle of friends, or big groups like clubs, teams, associations, and parties.

People have to feel they belong and are needed. One way to convey acceptance of people’s ideas is by simply listening. Listening communicates the message that their thoughts are valued and their inputs are significant. It answers the very basic need to belong and provides a sense of importance.

Have you ever been in any of the following situations?
– While sharing an important insight, somebody would finish the sentence for you.
– While describing what happened over the weekend, somebody would butt in and tell a similar story.
– In a meeting, the boss would cut you short while you are still explaining your side.
– You ask your child about his day in school and he runs straight to his room.
– You wanted to discuss something with your spouse but he is busy watching football.

How did you feel? Not good, right? It’s as if you are taken for granted. It’s as if no one is listening to you and that you do not matter. It signifies that your thoughts, concerns, and ideas are not accepted.

At the onset of life, an infant can feel this sense of acceptance from a mother who touches and caresses him in a loving way. As he grows older, his sense of acceptance and importance now comes from other family members, friends, teachers, peers, bosses, spouse, children, etc. Every person needs to be accepted. It puts meaning to a person’s existence.

Imagine a life with total absence of acceptance. Envision the life of babies who were abandoned by their mothers. Imagine the effect this will have on the babies’ emotional well-being. It is very possible that these kids will grow up dejected and feeling discriminated. The effects of discrimination can result to resentment and, if uncontrolled, can result to violent tendencies.

The feeling of resentment that is harbored overtime can escalate to anger and hostility. When a person becomes hostile, violence erupts. Resentment is like a forest fire – it can turn wild especially when fanned with more resentments. The mere civil act of accepting a person “can make or break them,” as the saying goes.

Acceptance must be done unconditionally. The giver should not expect anything in return. There should be no “no strings attached” or no commitments to fulfill. To expect something in return defeats the purpose of making others like you. In fact, this may only breed resentment, for it would appear that you are manipulating people by forcing them into a situation they may not like in the future.

World business shake hand in office silhouettes

Unconditional acceptance of other people’s thoughts, ideas, and concerns can yield favorable outcomes. Acceptance elicits cooperation and this leads to working towards a common goal. Acceptance yields positive and fruitful results. At the same time, you have raised the esteem, importance, and morale of the person whom you have accorded respect and acceptance.

Be willing to accept other people’s ideas, thoughts, and inputs. You will harvest not only good results, but also the admiration and appreciation of others, as well. Take all this put it all together and your business will thrive.

“The first step to change is awareness. the second step is acceptance”.

Reviews are Effecting Your Business and Here’s Why

Reviews are a great way for your customers to get an idea of what your customer service is like. Through reviews they know what services you offer, how well you offer them, and the quality of your products without even leaving their home.

Reviews are also a valuable tool for a business to know what their customers think about them. It’s a convenient way to get honest feedback of your services and find out what you need to fix to keep your customers satisfied.

What your customers say about you is just as much advertising for your business as any marketing strategy you could employ. It’s unfiltered, honest, and sometimes a bit dramatic.

While reviews can be loud and sometimes deceiving, no reviews at all can garner the same effect. Are no reviews better than bad reviews? Read ahead to find out.

Is your business what potential customers want? No one knows…

80% to 90% of consumers read online reviews before buying from a business. If there are no reviews, there’s no way for a potential customer to know whether your business is worth visiting or not.

Google has made it convenient to avoid businesses that have a bad reputation without setting foot near their actual establishment. Ensuring good customer service, professionalism, and reliability are now easier than ever.

While this has made the shopping process easier on the consumer, the same can’t be said for businesses. Why would a customer visit a business with no online reviews when they can find a place that people can confirm they will have a good experience?

Place yourself in the mindset of a consumer. When you’re looking for a product or service, chances are you are not in the mood to experiment with quality and service. A business with a lack of reviews leaves much to the imagination.

Unfortunately, reviews are one of those things that without them, people will stay away. How do you get more reviews to establish the authenticity and reliability that you know your business has?

  • Encourage customers who buy to review your product(s) at the check-out
  • Follow-up with a customer, see how they like their product  and ask permission to publish their responses.

Customers can’t trust your business

As with anything, rather than jump into something they know nothing about, customers like to do a little research about a business before they visit. They want to know all about who you are, what you do, and how you do it.

It’s fair to say you wouldn’t hand your money over to a stranger. Neither would a potential customer trust a business they know nothing about.

For instance, if you’re looking to get your wedding cake made, an online review of a local bakery could go a long way. What does this bakery offer? What do their cakes taste like? Are the bakers experienced in making what I want? Will they deliver on time?

You’re not going to go to a bakery that has no reviews. What if you get stuck with a cake that looks terrible or tastes… not like cake?

Your customer is the same. 72% of customers say that positive reviews make them trust a local business more an 88% of customers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations.

Don’t make the review process a chore

It’s common for people to think “I had a good experience with this company. I don’t feel compelled to write a positive review because if my experience wasn’t positive, then I would let people know about it”.

This mentality follows the idea that people are more likely to post negative reviews rather than positive ones. You need to encourage your customers to move away from this mentality and share their good experiences, just as they share the bad.

Just because there are no positive reviews doesn’t mean there are no positive experiences—but your customers don’t know that. Increase the amount of positive reviews for your company by making the review process as easy and attractive as possible:

  • Send a direct link to your profile on review sites
  • Encourage your customer to rate your company on Facebook
  • Provide incentive for posting a review
  • Create a memorable customer service experience worth sharing

A few reviews are better than no reviews. Make it a point to share your positive reviews across social media platforms for maximum visibility.

The importance of online reviews

Business that are “comfortable” with their following and can’t complain about their profits tend to ignore online reviews. They are satisfied with what they can see in front of them, but they have no idea how the internet could ruin their reputation or stunt them from growth.

Online reviews influence:

  • Buying decisions
  • Online rankings
  • Conversion rates

Customers are likely to spend 31% more on a business with “excellent” reviews. Businesses that neglect the importance of online reviews are missing out on profits. They’re not necessarily losing money but they could be making a lot more.

There will always be competitors. Online reviews affect how you fare against local competition and can keep you aware of your shortcomings.

The more honest reviews you have, the more your product will sell because customers must find out for themselves if what is being said is true. These reviews are sincere and show that your company has nothing to hide.

Create Ads To Generate Quality Traffic With Facebook

With the billions of people on Facebook all over the world, this platform represents a gold mine when it comes to reaching people and generating traffic for your online business. As an entrepreneur you always have to be thinking about the most effective ways to raise the profitability of your business and this seems to be one of them choices.

We’re not just talking about free advertising. Using the free method gives you a much smaller scope of reach than paid advertising would with Facebook. You can choose the method and the scope of your campaign, and also how to position yourself if your business offers fits in with their advertising model.

How To.

You have the option of promoting your business through posts made on your page, directing users to your website, and Facebook page promotion. What will prove most effective for you, is to have users directed to your website, which shifts the focus from your Facebook page and have prospects looking where the real action takes place. This is what will increase your chances of making an actual sale.

Through Facebook’s platform you’d already have made choices as to the demographic you’re interested in reaching so each visitor is a potential client.  You’re already attracting the kind of traffic you’re looking for.

You need to bear in mind that Facebook users in most cases are looking to connect with people they know or are seeking out acquaintances. Their primary focus tends not to be on making a purchase. You will find though that pages offering a service tend to do pretty well. You’ll therefore need to consider how to create a catchy ad, which will capture your audience’s attention and urge them to consider giving you more than passing glance.

The ideal approach is not to try to fill an already existing need; ads are full of this. You want to create a demand, which is more likely to get you noticed and followed. Of course the objective is always to move the traffic to your website.

Properly Target.

Facebook offers you so many choices in terms of deciding which categories of individuals you want your ads to target. Among the most important categories are location, gender, age and interests.

You really want to zoom in on the matter of the interest of your audience and we’re not just talking about their general interests only. While this may be somewhat helpful in determining what might be appealing to them, the real winner is the specific interests they’ve listed on their profile.

In looking at their specific interests, you also want to take it a step further by researching just how much those interests mean to them. This will allow you to really fine tune your target audience so that your likelihood of traffic generation and ultimately conversion, will increase.

You want to pay attention to how you develop your ads to make sure you target the right audience.  You can use original, purchased or free images to promote, but quality is always the right choice for your ad. Choose carefully so that your image will speak to your audience.

Use clear and precise text and make it easy to read and understand. This is where you’ll have to find your creative side, or draw on the expertise of someone, paid or otherwise, can assist you with content writing.

If you have a business model that will allow you to make effective use of Facebook’s advertising platform, then learning how to usse it effectively will help you create quality ads for the right demographic. Using Facebook’s tips provided and taking the time to get familiar with the ins and outs of their advertising platform, will help generate traffic and then revenue for you business.

Magnificent 3 Adwords Tips

As the most popular PPC engine available, Adwords is a must when using PPC to pull traffic to your sites. However, as the most popular PPC engine, keywords are often expensive, and a short-run ad campaign can cost an arm and a leg. There are ways to grab more traffic while spending less using Adwords. Let’s look at three tips for doing so.

Tip One: Use Hyper-Targeted Keywords.

Hyper-Targeted keywords are the actual keywords that sell – the ones that indicate your surfer is sitting there, credit card in hand, ready to make the purchase. In general, I use the following three phrases when selling “product”:

Buy Product
Purchase Product
Order Product

And of course, use each of them with all of Google’s features – in quotations and in brackets, for each type of matching. So for instance, instead of just Buy Product, you would use: Buy Product, “Buy Product”, and [Buy Product]. Depending on how hot an item you have chosen, these three primary power words – Buy, Purchase, and Order – can bring you more targeted traffic than you know what to do with, and these are people who are ready to purchase right now!

Tip Two: Use Site-Targeting.

Another feature of Adwords that most users completely ignore is the site-targeting option. Campaigns can be keyword-targeted or site-targeted. The beauty of site targeting is that you can target sites at the top of the organic Google searches. This works better in some cases than others, obviously, but when it works, you end up paying a fraction of the cost for clicks that you would for keyword-targeted campaigns.

For best results, choose a few top keyword phrases and enter them into Google. Look at the first 5 results for each one (or more if you like) and notice whether or not those sites use Adsense. Also notice the Adsense placement – is it near the top of the screen? The top left position is best, but as long as the ads are visible without scrolling the page, that site is a great candidate. When you paste that site’s root into Adwords, it may or may not be approved. If it is an approved site-targeted ads site, you’re in business. Now edit the campaign and change the site’s root out with the direct link you got from your Google search – now only that page will show your ad! Your CPM will be much lower than if the entire site was showing your ads, and you know your traffic is coming from people who searched for the term you entered.

Tip Three: Show the item’s price in your ad.

This one may sound simple, but it can really go a long way towards weeding out expensive clicks that had no intention of converting. In my experience, showing the item’s price in the ad has weeded out approximately 80% of non-buyer clicks. It reduces the total number of clicks, of course, but those clicks are higher quality traffic. This is especially effective if your price is lower than most other prices on the same product elsewhere.

These three little tips will give you an advantage in the Adwords game. Best of luck!

Viral Marketing – Ignoring It Could Kill Your Business!

Creativity, something to think about.

This is one important component a site must have to lead the race in the ruthless competition of Internet marketing businesss. With so much competition and rivalry going on, every method of marketing must be utilized.

It doesn’t matter if you have a killer product or a magical designed website, if people don’t know that you exist, it doesn’t matter, and you are not going to make it big. Worse of all, you business could just get killed.

While there are so many methods and schemes used by so many e-commerce sites today, there are still some of those that can help you with an extra boost in the popularity ratings. One of these is called Viral Marketing.

While the term Viral easily depicts a virus, the word very much dreaded by all computer owners, it is not what it seems. You do not actually use a computer virus to spread your business; on the contrary it just might kill you. Everyone has had enough of all those pop up ads and spywares.

Viral Marketing how it works.

Viral Marketing also known as Viral Advertising is a marketing technique used to build the public awareness of one’s product or company. They use many forms of media to reach out to the public without actually promoting the product by riding on in other forms of addictive means that could get a person hooked and be obliged or amused to actually pass it on, with the product or company advertisement along with it.

Checkout the link below for some of the most successful viral marketing in the history of the internet. You will not believe who, what, and how people have gained wealth fairly simply by using viral marketing.

So all those companies ride on the idea that if people like the content they will pass it on to their friends and family. They sponsor the certain advertising, such as a cool flash game, funny video, amusing story, which one may pass on to another with the company brand or logo or the products description or any other content to help promote the company or its product.

Viral marketing has become a popular means of advertising and marketing because it is relatively inexpensive. To avoid being tagged as spam mail, viral marketing counts on the eagerness of one person to pas on the product. If a person sees the name of the person they know as the sender, they won’t block it and the recipient opens it.

How would you like to see how a farm boy from the outback of Australia with no money and within 5 years has financial freedom and more wealth he will ever need. Click on the banner to get your free book that tells you his story.

Many companies offer incentives such as discounts and rebates when they help in spreading their viral marketing. They rely on the number of recipients a viral marketing gets from one person in determining the amount or number of incentive they can be attributed with.

How Viral Marketing gives you advantages

You get to generate a flow of traffic that are potential customers. With a little thought and imagination, plus some incentives or prizes, you can reach out to a great number of people and announce your existence.

Most every website and companies are catching on to the effect of Viral Marketing and Advertising. Along with other schemes and methods in promoting your site, like Search Engine Optimization (SEO), viral marketing could easily push you ahead in the rating games.

Viral Marketing could be a sneaky way to get people to know about you and your company. You get them to pass your advertisement along. They are also very low cost that not investing in it could be disastrous to your business. And it takes just one great idea, an addicting video game, a funny story, there are many ideas out there. Create a gossip or a buzz, many movies are promoted by using scandals and gossips to make them moré popular and interesting. Remember the movie “The Blair Witch Project”?

Many big companies have tried viral marketing and have had many success stories with it. The greatest story of them all is Microsoft’s Hotmail. They were the first known big company to utilize the scheme and it has worked wonders for them, especially Bill Gates..

Now it’s your turn to use viral marketing to work magic for you. Act now and reap the benefits Viral Marketing it will provide for you and your sales figures.
